I know, I know, just another of the millions of treble boosters built by forum members. Big deal.
This build accomplished a few things for me, however. Least importantly, it was my third successful perf build. After 2 years of exclusively PCB builds, I'm becoming much more comfortable with perf. Most importantly, it's the first time I built from a schem and not someone else's layout, which was an invaluable learning experience.
And finally, I've at last gotten off the TB schneid. Four different attempts-including this particular circuit, on PCBs no less-at treble boosters inexplicably failed. This one worked first try, and took me about a half hour.
Good for me.
Thanks for your time.

Congrats.  Always nice when a circuit fires up first time.  :)

Don't think people don't enjoy reading this sort of thing.  I personally like seeing success stories, and I'd be willing to bet you've influenced a couple of folks to build one.

Congrats Ildar. I remember you were having a shitfight with getting a couple of tb's to work a while ago. I also remember chiming in with probably something less than helpful....
But anyway, as Bellyflop says - don't think no-one is interested in hearing success stories.

Perf Board and a schematic is all I've ever worked with, so I'm not really sure what it would be like to stuff a board. I know I wouldn't get a big thrill out of making my own PCB, that's for sure. I am one of the few people I know on here, that actually built bread boards for a living. I'm also one of the few that has used wire wrap to prototype with, and do massive processor boards, long before they were ever in a single chip. But, I am 175 years old too! I took this up, because I missed doing that. To me, if you're building by breadboard and schematic, you're learning something, but that's just me.

Yup, going from "schematic to perf/vero" is a good lesson, even with a simple treble booster.
I started with a "Bazz Fuzz" two years ago and just built a Boss AC-2 with 8 opamps from
the schematic !
A "TB" is always good to have around :D

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I never really expected any replies, just wanted to vent.  ;D

Honestly, Threefish, at that point in time any suggestion was helpful. Now I should go back and see what the %*&@# was up with those other builds.

Onward and upward!
Thanks again.
