Painting Brushed, Anodized Aluminum ?

   Any specail treatments/pitfalls I should know about?
  it is a brown colored, brushed aluminum panel, no deep scratches but 'marred, I'd wouldn't mind a nice brushed alum front panel, but it could use at least some sprucing up.

What will you use as a topcoat?
For any metal, I swear by XIM: www.ximbonder.com There are white and clear products available. The only drawback is that the primer will not work under lacquer.
