using 2 LED's with Millenium

Is it possible to use 2 LED's (maybe in series?) for indicators with the "millenium" or "LED trick" setup? I am sure it isn't original, but I would like to have 2 LED's as "eyes" for a graphic on top of the box (purely aesthetic) and I am using DPDT switches.

Thanks,
Shane

i don't have things to test with, but i'm pretty sure 2 in series will work.  just make sure that the resistor that precedes them (1K to 4.7K in the millenium 2 update) is high (or low) enough.  i'd say, just try it.  good luck!

Been there done that :icon_wink:. I can tell you with absolute certainty that it works with a millenium 2 since, guess what, I did it with a millenium 2 :icon_wink:

In my case I put the leds in series, which works. If the voltage drop of the two leds is bigger than about 8 volts I would put them in parallel, using a seperate current limiting resistor for each led.

Thanks for the replies :) I will try it with the 5th Gear OD project I am doing and see how it turns out :)
