Non-Boost Distortion

Does anybody know of a simple one knob distortion that maintains the settings of your amp and another distortion pedal?
I get a great low-gain sound through my Bad-Monkey but when I add another distortion pedal it's real noisy. I love the sound of the Bad Monkey but sometimes you wanna kick it up a little for leads.

Welcome to the forum.

Here are two ways to maybe get what you're after:

(1) add a clean boost in front of the bad monkey for leads where you push the monkey a little harder. Any boost should work great.

(2) if you can get the "boosted" sound you want simply by dialing in a new monkey setting, you could add a stomp switch to switch between those two settings.
