Another Small Clone question. Getting more from the Depth control?

I'm using a 1meg for the Rate and it seems to work well. I've got a 10k for the Depth control and it's effect is very subtle unless the Rate is at max and the Depth is at max. Is there another value for the Depth pot that will make it more usable? Thanks.

Then something is wrong.  You should have a truly irritating wobble with both those controls dimed.  What op-amp are you using for the LFO?

I LOVE that wobble! Its almost useless, but its got a strange classic sci-fi quality.

But here's the thing: he (?) doesn't even get to decide if he likes it or not, because he can't produce it!

audioguy

oh I totally understand that... I was just sharing my affection for the wobble.

But one thing that MIGHT help... have you tried adjusting the trimpot in small increments at a time? I found when doing mine that sweeping didnt work too well. I needed to make small changes, then test, and then try again.

i do get the annoying wobble, but the control seems to offer all or nothing. I searched posts for the same issue and the general consensus is to use the 10k pot for the depth. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with other values to get a smoother sweep.

Then conceivably you have a pot taper issue.  What taper are your using currently?
