hello,pi22seven, this is guitarleeman. I recieved your reply about the 6973 tubes. Thanks for the info. I looked all over the place for the 6973 vacuum tubes. Glad they reissued them. Im gonna order some as soon as possible. The kind of amp I have is an old Univox made in 1965.Can't remember model number.I bought it non-working from a friend,just the chassis,no wooden frame. It was a combo,Im converting it into an amp head. the output tranny says 20W,so it should sound good once I Recap it.

My reply to nelson was meant kind of jokingly. There are many PM-worthy and OT posts that don't get singled out (hell, Jack Orman just made one about some old, defunct mag). I just don't like to see people ragged on for no reason.
