Hello all

I have assembled a transistor tester according to RG's technology of the fuzz face, but I'm very very confused with the math and the results.

Before grasping the math, I'd like to be sure that the transistor tester is correctly build;

I tested a number of transistors, with this voltage measures: (9.42V battery, 2.480ohm resistor)

AC125 - 1:      2.53V / switched: 1.40V
AC125 - 2:      2.08V / switched: 1.10V
OC 44:           0.27V / switched: 0.06V
CV7003 - 1:    0.80V / switched: 0.29V
CV7003 - 2:    1.15V / switched: 0.35V

Can these values be considered normal? Should I troubleshoot more the tester or can I proceed to understand the math to calculate the gains?

thanks a lot!

Hello  barret77,

I am in the same trouble as you. As I understand the switched value should be higher, am I right?

Can anybody help us?

Thanks in advance.
