I always thought my enclosures looked better than my effects sounded, haha.  So far i've used:

Sponge bob caramel corn tin (opamp muff fuzz)

Round phenolic electrical box, a nice fibrous brown color (lofo mofo type circuit)

Grey plastic electrical junction box w/ stainless steel top plate (pt-80 clone)

Two old civil defense geiger counters from the 60s (bastardized big muff and miniature condensor microphone  wired to a ruby amp)

SIMULATED pipe bomb made with pipe and end caps from home depot.  (opamp muff fuzz/booster hybrid) Currently stolen and floating around NYC.  Maybe some day you will see it on Fox News!!

Two microphones "liberated" from some ancient police radios.  One of them is cast aluminum it's so old.  Both have elements made by shure.

I have plans for some more, including the aforementioned rotary phone.  I found an awesome red one, like the one the president uses to call in a nuclear strike in the movies.  I want to make some sort of microphone circuit out of it, i like the sound of those old mouthpieces in those kinds of phones.  I also found a cool breaker box at home depot.  I got a box full of civil defense items, there's a dosimeter charger left in there which is about the size of a 1590bb box.  Not to give away too many of my ideas of course!!

I have pics of them all, i just have to host them.  I will try to post them soon cause they are kinda neat.  I feel that an enclosure should reflect the sound of the item.

this is a ruby amp inside this little guy

he originally was a tickle me elmo rip off that would shake and giggle
so he had a perfect place in his butt to hide the circuit

I sewed a small speaker into his chest, and I'm planning on adding an output jack in the appropriate place :icon_eek: I just have to find the box it was packed in when I moved.
the eyes are wired into the circuit in a way that they flash when you play
I hadn't planned on that originally but it makes it creepier

The thing I have used mostly are the cast aluminum electrical junction boxes from Home Depot and Lowes

you win.  Hands down, best thing I've ever seen.  Ever.

I'm including non-stompbox related stuff too.

You just made my cruddy day better!!
