Would this FF idea work ..?

Just "thinking" - which is dangerous ... I know !
How about a PNP "FF" with and external 50k bias pot, standard setup with 2k Fuzz pot
which then connects via a 22n cap to a reverse wired NPN high gain MPSA13 darlington,
with a 1N4148 from collector to base, 22uf/2k7 to -9v from emitter and output
from collector with a 10k from 9v + ( ground ) via a small cap to 100k volpot.
I guess this could work, and offer some nice high gain tones, but could also
throw the bias out at some settings , for a "broken fuzz" sound etc ...

Any thoughts ?   has it been done before ?
