Hi,as a complete novice i like the look of the Dragonfly Veroboard layouts, but i see the input jack on the left and the output on the right where shown in certain layouts, do i reverse the image for building or is it made the way i see it ???  or am i not getting it, thanks Crawf.

hmmmm ... I never really noticed this .... when you put the finished vero  board in the box you'll be looking at the inside of the box so when you flip the pedal over the in and out will be on the right sides ...  :icon_wink:

Good luck ...

Hi Crawf, I asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago.  The vero layouts as shown are viewed from above with the copper strips on the bottom face.  I reverse the image when I am cutting the traces (the red squares on the vero's are where you cut the trace), and then use the normal image for component placement.  Hope this helps.

Thanks guys for replying,  Jimmy i saw your question that you posted and now understand, i actually built the "one knob fat fuzz" and now i know i built it the right way round, needless to say it did`nt work apart from a very faint fuzz tone when i touched the back of the board but that could be down to other mistakes on my part, but as they say the world loves a trier, so i`ll carry on regardless, thanks again Crawf. (of course if anybody has any tips or clues i would be most appreciative)

Hi Again,I just finished the Muffmaster layout and could not get any sound from it so i omitted the switch and "Hallelujah" it worked so it was maybe a dodgy switch, so thanks again for the help in understanding the layouts, Crawf. ;D
