Fuzz Face first build success - The Oz Fuzz

Hey Everyone,

I have been lurking here for a while and have read a lot of stuff from a long time ago as well.  Anyway,  I just wanted to thank everyone for their indirect help in my first attempt at building a stompbox.

I built a Fuzz Face, using the schematics from the Smallbox site and from the General Guitar Gadgets site.  I used two germanium transistors from Small Bear electronics and used the resistor values they sent to me.  It took two tries to get everything working, and it was a little difficult, but it was a lot of fun.  The box sounds good and I am really surprised at how quiet this thing is....at least 80% more quiet than my stock TS-9.

I am not sure what my next build is going to be, but I am sure it will be fun!

  Something to go with the Oz Fuzz...hmmm
  At some point, maybe not the second build, you'll want a something to do the 'Twister' for the Oz Show...Flange or Phase I would think could do the Oz Tornado..Box Looks Great...she Really Loved That Dog !!!
