I'm rebuilding my headphone/practice amp and ran across the Grace/Big Daddy schematics over at ROG.  The sound clips are pretty good (as usual).  My original thought was to put the Grace in front of the Big Daddy and use a switch (clean-ish to dirty) to switch between the two.  I'm wondering:

Are the Grace/Big Daddy circuits 'amp' circuits like the Ruby, or do I need to run them into a Ruby-like amp?

Thanks in advance.

The Grace and Big Daddy are overdrive pedals, not amps. You would use them infront of an amp.

Hmm...that's what I thought.
Anyone put a Grace/Big Daddy in front of a Ruby in the same enclosure?  Would be fun to switch from clean Ruby to dirty Ruby...but I'm curious about battery consumption here...
