puretube hoax

hello TON and all the others,
     i got da'hoax to do some kind of suboctive crazy ass shinto. my bass player , the great JOSH KINDLE is a music major multi talent.
        he says it sounds like an octive but hamonicly different. does that jive?

Blend: max;
Rate: 3...5 o`clock;
Delay Amount: 9...12 o`clock (both);
Delay Mode: 1, 2, 3, or 4;

all others: don`t care
( to put them in neutral:
Feedback: min;
toggle: OFF;
Amount: min;
Modulator Mode: DC; ).

all in all, it`s just a similar thingy to ringmod-like
time-modulation (low depth, fast rate, long delay...)
