Hi all,
Just about to "sim" one of these and could use some help/advice.
I have a couple of schems, this is the 1966 small bass amp, that used a single 15inch driver.
I'm told it was also a favourite with session guitarists, as it sounds good when driven hard ?
I need to know a couple more values, such as the "tone pot" value ( I'm guessing 500k )
and perhaps a link to a clearer schem ...
Its going to be a three stage sim, replacing three 12ax7 stages with J201's/MPF102's
and only has a vol and tone control, plus master output vol.

Anyone have some details ?
Many thanks,

Marty.

Hi Marty,

do you have this one ? http://www.angelfire.com/mech/beansamps/schems/S6420.PDF

Claims 500k for the tone control.

Don't know if it's correct though.

Regards,

Markus

Thanks Markus, that's a "cleaner" one than I have, but matches up with my "guesswork" !
I've made the tone pot 500k lin and that 110k to ground I think is a 120k

You're a STAR !!   .... built and posting the "sim" version in a minute  :D
