Melted Inductor...Did I damage it?

Hi there.  Last night I installed a fulltone inductor on my wah, and I used too much heat.  One side of the plastic base melted, and some flowed in around the inductor coil (which is taped) itself.

It sounds okay, but I just wanted to check if I may have damaged it.

Thoughts?

BTW, with a 47k resistor instead of the 33k and the fulltone pot and inductor, this thing sounds awesome!

thanks

Nah, if it works (and especially if it sounds good), you're safe. Enjoy.

I got it at a local store.  It was their last inductor.  That's why I was hoping it wasn't damaged.  They are almost irreplaceable now.
