How do you go about calculating the dc as passes through the various components? For instance, is there a way to measure the dc on the board when it passes through the first component say a resistor? And so on and so forth with each component. Math formulas? Any help would be would much appreciated. Any reading suggestions are most welcomed. I'm trying to wrap my head around the designing aspect so as to better understand why things are set up the way they are. Thanks in advance.

Ahhhhh Grasshopper, it is time for the study of Ohm's Law. :)

It all comes down to some very basic relationships between voltage, current, and resistance.

Thank you very much Peter. It's time to chew on some bacon ohms I guess.  :icon_eek:
