Hello everyone. I'm tired of spending so much money on commercial stompboxes, plus I live in saipan, which is a tiny island south of japan and the philippines, so shipping is pricey. I've looked into building stompboxes a little bit. I think the basic idea that it will be very difficult, but I am up for the challange. I think building my own stompboxes will improve my understanding in all guitar pedals and make me a better musician (a bit corny yeah). Anyway, if anybody has any information on how to learn schematics or ANYTHING that will help me build my own stompbox I would really really appreciate it!!!!!!!!

The begginer project on this web site which is an NPN signal booster by Gus Smalley is a great place to start. It has step by step instructions, heaps of forum support and a pictorial of the build process
