Possible mods for Ibanez CM5

Hi everybody
i'm very honoured to be in this forum.
A special thank goes to Marc Hammer, Aron Nelson and many others: thanks guys, you don't know it..... but you helped me lots of times....
My first post is: i own an Ibanez CM5, a quite nice distortion device (OP amp+diode-to-ground based dist),i like it, anyway i would like to modify the tone control  reducing the overall harshness.
Tone control in CS5 works in a very particular way; on zero position (Fully counterclockwise ) the highs are fully open, by turning up the tone pot (clockwise), only the bass increase. However i notice a shaping in the middle frequency zone. i'd like to reduce the overall harshness, increasing a little bit the middle to the detriment of a bit of bass
I've no knowledge in electronic but i'm able to read schematics, so any advice about mods or value to change, to do this (regarding Dirk Hendrik's schematics of CM5), will be appreciated.
