Hello all

I'm building the Java Boost according to Torchy's layout (http://www.indyguitarist.com/torchy/Boosters/Keeley%20Java%20Boost/Java.gif)

Should I bias it adjusting the trims just like RG describes on the technology of the Rangemaster?

I need to recheck everything, but I find something weird: I get -7 in the emitter, not in the collector as RG describes. The other weirdness is that in both ways (inverting C and E) the transistor sounds pretty much the same... anyway, I need to carefully check everything.

PS: I'm using a gold can mullard oc44. The metal tab is the emitter, right? That's what I've found using my friend search button.

No, on my old "gold cans" it's the collector  !
( unless I have a couple of circuits working with them backwards :D )
Check that version, I know there was a couple of "non working" ones before
a solution and redraw was done .
