Vocal Effects

My band is trying to cover a rane of music and one of the artists we have chosen is Cradle Of Filth. Our singer can emulate the low singing really good but struggles on the high pitched screams. Ive heard that they use some distorion and i pitch shifter or somting. Can anyone verify what effects they actually use while singing and also if possible what guitar effects they use

I'm not too familiar with Cradle Of Filth songs, so I can't tell you if Dani uses some kind of effect in his voice. Maybe a pitch shifter. Some reverb is good too. I don't know how he do to get his voice, but I have a friend which sing death metal and is a great singer, he uses a mix of death metal and black metal voices and all he need is his voice, no effects  .
