The AMZ mosfet booster does not seem to increase the output of the guitar.
Indeed bypassed the volume from the amp is greater than when the Boost is connected.
This doesnt seem right, is the booster not supposed to increase the volume?

When properly working...you should get quite a large boost.
I'm no expert...but perhaps it's a bias trimming issue.

Finally fixed it today.
Attention Tonepad! The layout of the AMZ Mosfet Boost has the Mosfet the wrong way round. :icon_eek:
First tonepad error yet tho.

I wouldn't bet the farm on the layout being wrong.  I bought some bs170's that did't work in anything. then I figured out that the piout was different than what I expected. I fliped em aroung and badda bing badda bang I got boost for days.

Different brands of the same model Mosfets and Jfets will have different pinouts. Always check datasheets and save yourself some trouble.
