"Splitter-blend" question! HELP NEEDED! =)

Did you wire lug 7 to lug 6?
Wire lug 5 to input?  (or, instead of connecting to input, at least wire lug 5 to ground to silence IC1A during testing?)
Lug 8 to +9v?  Lug 4 to ground?
Did you create the voltage splitter for vref as pictured?

ok! mystery solved!
I noticed that ive accidently put a 33k and a 330k!! resistor instead of two 33k in the IC "power supply".
So the problems solved, and it sound really nice! no distiortion, only a little hearable add on treble but i should try another input cap right?
what do you suggest?

i builded a transistor buffer last week and had a 100nF cap at the input, and a 10uF at out, and it didn´t colour the tone at all!!!
gonna try that!
