Ring Modulators

What is a good ring modulator that will go nicely with a distortion and maybe a pitch shifter while being used for vocals? Any good combinations?

Look up the Maestro Ring Modulator at General Guitar Gadgets. Not an easy build but sounds better than most. It's very musical as well as able to get wild sounding and total devo.
