What pedal is the MC1495 used in and what is it's purpose?

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

The MC1495 is a multiplier chip, guaranteed for DC.
I designed a ring modulator around it.. just before it
went out of production  :icon_mad: :icon_mad: :icon_cry:
Today, I use the AD663.
But, if you wnat to replicate the famous Maestro..then
Steve has the chip you want!
