Orange Squeezer problem

I am using the general guitar gadget layout for the os, and for some reason when i turn it on, the output is Very diminished.  i can hear just a little bit, but ever with the volume pot up still barley anything.  I feel kinda sheepish asking for help since the os is one of the most basic pedals and i for the life of me cant figure out what the heck is up.  but anyway any help would be great.
