EasyDrive perf layout?

I know its an easy circuit. I know I could lay it out myself. I know that I could use vero.

But I don't wanna!

Seriously though, does anyone know of a perf layout for the EasyDrive? All I've found is vero.

just make it as you go  :)

one of those little ratshack square-shaped perfs would do just fine, and then you also have all four corner holes available for mounting!

those are great... my roseyray is built on one, with a little room to spare.

On a circuit like that one, I just lay it out just like the schematic. That way it's easy to troubleshoot. If you've never built on perf before, send me a PM, and I'll walk you through it. I have probably done 55 effects circuits on perf, and several hundred others while I was in telecommunications.

I'll try it tomorow i think. I just seem to have bad vibes with perf. 2 out of 3 of my perf projects so far have failed me :(

You could still use the vero layout. Just use the excess leads to connect the components instead of the strips.
I have done this with a few of my layouts when I ran out of vero board. Something else that may help is to use perf with no pads. If you screw up it is very easy to remove components without ruining the perf board.

I often use perf no pads when prototyping or experimenting as well it's not as easy as using a breadboard but if you like what you come up with its a whole lot easier to box up :icon_biggrin:
