BASSBAALLLSS!!!! its a problem

Hi, i from Argentina, y just build the troppicone bassballs, with de 4558 and the 1458 and is not working, its anybody there who can make it work? the other thing, i need to know if anybody build it, wath IC really work??, it seems to be alot of problems with this effect.
Wich circuit really work?

Esta bueno que indiques cuando haces una pregunta como esta que indiques que esquema o layout estas usando asi es mas facil ayudarte (en lo posible con un link). Tambien es bueno ser mas especifico y decir que es lo que no funciona, si no es imposible comenzar a rastrear la falla.

Hola, estoy en buenos aires, ya arme otros efectos antes con exito,  el tema es que estoy un poco confundido con el bassballs, segun el circuito de troppicone  http://topopiccione.atspace.com/PJ08EHBassBalls.html

hay dos circuitos el original (clonewars) y este, pero segun otros posts el operacional 4558 no funcionaria en este circuito.

Por eso busco a alguien que realmente lo haya armado asi me puede decir que configuracion si funciona.

Nunca arme ese circuito, la verdad ni idea. Pero en la pagina de Topopiccione se menciona que el esquema esta verificado y probado, asi que si seguis las instrucciones del sitio deberia andar.

Hi pete, the layout is verified and has been tested by many people of this forum.
You should try different combinations of op-amps, maybe the 4558 could be a source of problem.
Try NE5532 or LM358 or TL072 for the envelope follower section. I assume that the rest of the circuit is verified and well working...

I've made two and they work just fine.  A 1458 is needed for the envelope-follower section, but any op-amp will do for the filter sections.

A very broad range of transistors will work for the filters, but make sure the pinouts are correct.
