Hi I built a rebote delay 2,5 but it suffers a big volume drop when engaged.

Here is the parts that was changed to something ells:
The 24K, 240k resistors was made by putting some others in series to achive the correct value.

A 4,7pf was used instead of the 5pf cap. The 0,027uF and the three 0,082uF caps where changed to some with a similar value(I've forgotten which. And it doesn't state it on them).

The time pot was changed to a 500k pot.
Also I tried making a warp mod but it doesn't really work yet. Its just a spdt toggle with the repaeats pot and a 25k resistor on each side.

I'm gonna do some readings later today.

It works but the volume is very very low. I tried to warm the solder up again but nothing.
Any help??

Thanks

Try with audio probe. Which signal is low? Normal or delays or both?

I built one yesterday, and at first I also had a big volume drop.  It  had no delayed signal also.

But, after connecting the input jack to the input and the output jack to the output, instead of the other way around,
it now works perfectly.

I used 22k, 220k and 470k  instead of 24k, 240k and 510k.
I also used 4p7 and 47p instead of 5p and 51p.

Not much help  I'm afraid, but still thought I'd mention it.

I'm pretty sure wverything is wired correctly.
When the pedal is engaged the output is very low.

Oh, I let it stay in a shelf for some time now.
Here are the V readings I have done:

Pt2399:
1)6,23
2)3,17
3)0
4)0
5)3,75
6)3,33
7)0
8)0
9)3,45
10)3,47
11)3,50
12)3,51
13)3,52
14)3,53
15)3,55
16)3,55

78L05:
Vin:12,04
Vground:0
Vout:6,92

Any help?

Are you powering it with a 12V power supply?
Your regulator should put out 5V, I'd check that.

No 9v.
I use this:http://www.aage.dk/Shoppingsystem/vare.asp?varenr=10365

Hmm, I wonder how you're getting 12 volts at the regulator input...

your regulator is definitely acting funny. i fear the worst for your PT2399  :(

Is the anything I can change to get more volume? The delay works fine, it just has very low volume. It sounds like it works fine with the extra v. just that there are some problems in the gain area.
Can anyone point me in any direction to what I should do?
