Hello there! Has anyone made Flatline compressor using optoisolators instead of led/ldr pair? I have bunch of those NSL-32's and I don't have a compressor on my rig right now so...   I've got very good results wit those silonex optos, and they are very cheap too (here in Finland ~2,50€ each). Got my neutron filter (mutron III workalike) and easyvibe working with wery high performance results, so I was thinking that maybe flatline would also perform well with one fitted in. The factory sheet said that resistance would vary between 5-500 Kohms. Maybe need to tailor the parallel FB-loop resistor right? Any ideas or should I just try them out?

I think I used an NSL32 equivalent and it was fine.

Have you seen the Silonex application sheets for audio compressors? Looks very interesting and uses NSL-32 and 5532 IC.
