Si FF 2.0, Electra, Honolulu Mojo - comments / thanks

Just some comments

First of all, my order from Aron came super quick: Tuesday --> Friday.   Aron No Ka 'Oi!

The parts had to wait until I rebuilt the Fuzz Face.

The second try did the trick. I don't know what the problem was with the first. I used the same caps and some of the same resistors. the only difference is that I put the parts onto strip board and eliminated one suspect carbon resistor. I also just hooked the thing up to some jacks, instead of connecting it to the stomp switch.

The layout gallery is sweet. It even helped me identify an error (?) on the Electra schematic I was going to use. (4.7k+ / 47k?)

The Electra distorton is sweet. I used the germanium diode with the Honolulu mojo alongside the Shack's Si for the suggested asymmetry. Very cool indeed. I had been wondering what effects like to be boosted; now I know one.  When boosted this baby goes from cool to baaaaaaaaaaaaad.
