Hi guys!!. what do you consider the best seq to build?. i'd like to have something like 8 stages. Ive checked the vanishing, but don't like the issue that if you use less stages, it waits on the first one til the cycle beguins again...or at least that's what my bad english understands of andrew's explanation. Any clues?

The counter when reseted does not wait until the last stages finishes. It goes right back to stage one and starts again with no delay.

You might want to wait a bit. I'm starting The Vanishing Point v2.1 build which if all goes well I will have up soon I hope.

Thanks. :)

The good news is that it is partially done, I got rid of the second opto for the random function which should allow the tightening up various part values and reduce the overall size of the board, and I'm trying to configure it so one should be able to update the previous version to the newer one with alittle bit of hacking.

The bad news is I won't be doing a PCB for it. PCBs take too much time and it seems few people use it instead opting to make their own boards for their needs. I can understand that and the circuit is simple enough to perf.

:icon_confused: a minor setback. Now if I could just find a decent PCB design program...

The v2.0 can still be hacked to add most of the new features of v2.1 so its not bad if you already have a board.

There quite a few "free" PCB programs out there depending on your OS. Do alittle hunting around.
