Hi all! I've recently completed the pcb population for pedal above. it sounds nice, but I could use some improvement on the tone control side.
But I am just too lazy to trace it back from the pcb. Can anyone link me to a schematic (which I can't find...)?

Thanks!

IIRC (from about 6yrs ago or so when it came out) there was another version that uses a double-ganged (sp?) 500k pot for the gain and it was supposed to have a better gain control.
I may have the schem somewhere, I'll look this weekend when I get home. (Maybe that was the 'Sweet Thing'??)
This was about the same time that the original AMZ MiniBooster/MiniTubes came out, and the original BSIAB.

Sweet Thing is very different and the dual-pot idea was unnecessary.

Hi Doug! First of all - thank you for a nice and gainy distortion!  :icon_twisted:
Look, I foolowed the link you provided and I sill can't find the Sweet 16 schem... Could you possibly mail it to me? necrasov_at_gmail_dot_com
Thank you!

Ok, people, it may come as a surprise, but
SWEET 16 KICKS SOME MAJOR ASS!!!
the following adjustments were made:
Cx - 0.001µF
C3 - 0.0047µF (corner frequency just barely over 20Hz)
C5 - gone
C8 - 0.001µF (again, lower corner frequency, more mid-range)
C11 - 330pF
R10 - 560ohm
R5 - 4.7k
R7 - 250kA
R14 - gone

The nastiest sounding distortion for a strat. Shielded cable throughout though, its pretty high gain and may oscillate with sloppy wiring.
Other than that - its a great sounding distortion and very dynamic. Single coils SHINE through it. ;)
