RFI in vox wah pedal (after mods)

I recently modified my usa made Vox 847 wah pedal and love everything about it except for the radio station coming through at the treble end of it's (wah) spectrum.  I made the pedal function with true bypass wiring (fulltone diagram, dpdt switch), installed a Fulltone pot, and replaced the inductor with a red Fasel.  My research tells me that this is  a common problem through the ages, but I wanted to know if some of the remedies are better to try than others... Ferrite beads?  Ferrite choke?  small caps, input-to-gound?  I have been trying different rooms in my apartment and going through different cables with mixed results...

Thanks for any direction.

no one ever

small caps work well, as do small chokes you can pull from computers, but input-ground i believe is for high gain bypassing.

Just to sure:  Where do you solder the small caps to deal with the RFI... on the ground lug of the pot? ...Or perhaps connected to the transistors?  The old (inferior sounding) inductor didn't seem to pick up interference as it seemed to be shielded...

Thanks,
