I am wondering if you can get fets in an SMD type? Do they exist. As I am after a J201 spec one. As I want to try a one off smd circuit. (just for the fun of it - to say that I have tried!)
I can't find any in the UK, for the other components I can, but no fets. :icon_sad:

Anyone?

Cheers
Simon.

I don't know about any UK specific companies, but http://digikey.com/ has 54 surface mounted JFETs listed.

google is your friend (sometimes if you are not in China)

remember flux and fet gates don't go together.

Scroll down.  This was only page 2, but they start cropping up (a few on this page alone).  Click on one and there should be an option to 'find similar' devices, either that or refine the search.

Farnell are pretty cool as far as SMD goes ( :icon_twisted:)

PS  £20 min order, but there's tons of stuff there that's difficult to get elsewhere, so think of it as an opportunity to stock up.
