I've had all four for quite a few years now. Wonderful little books for beginners.... and a nice reference source for advanced builders as well. Get 'em while you can kids!

Four? I have seven including the four that were posted. I can scan them if anyone wants. The other ones I have are called: "Digital Logic Circuits," "Communications Projects," and "Formulas, Tables, and Basic Circuits." Also if someone will host them, I will gladly give them out to be posted.

Hey, thanks for the link, Calpoly!

I suggest everyone get the files from the link I listed first because you don't have to mess with passwords or the download limit of Rapidshare where the others are located.

Yay, a whole weekend of reading. :) Checked one of them out and loved it. All the info needed and none too much.

Thanks for the link, Calpolyengineer! My son has a couple of the larger books (came with one of the RS LearningLabs) that are packed with great info as well. Geez....now I gotta go find them!

I don't know why I can't see it, and why my computer went into 'dry heaves' when I tried to..  :icon_frown:
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

I noticed something on the download page about the files being automatically deleted after 30 days. I don't know if it is true, but I know I will definately print these out just in case.

If you add this to your HOSTS file:

127.0.0.1 popunder.PayPopup.com

it will stop those annoying pop-unders that seem to get by Firefox...

Holy f'in crap! I bought the opto electronics one when I was like 11! I had my allowance in my pocket and decided I'd go spend it at Rat Shack for some ungodly reason. I never did a thing out of it and I lost it. Wow. Obscure memories.
I love the smell of solder in the morning.

psiico

Wow, these are great.  Thanks for posting!

Forrest Mims and his books are treasures.

All of those Mini-Notebooks are still in print and for sale at Forrest's web site:

http://www.forrestmims.com/engineers_mini_notebook.html

Each volume collects 3 of the books, and sells for $12.95.

The Oakland Ham Radio Outlet carries them, as well as Getting Started in Electronics, which is my favorite electronics primer.
