hi...

i came across a Jen Crybaby recently and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a replacement switch for it, as it's not functioning as it should.  the printing on the switch says MARQUARDT 0401-3001 2A 500V.  it's got 4 lugs, two on one end and two on the other, so i'm guessing it's possibly some kind of dpst?  i looked up the Marquardt website and there's nothing about this switch to be found.  i can't seem to date the wah by the pot, the only markings on it are MG and B-50, but it appears to be pretty old.  it's got the red fasel inductor, white trim on the bottom plate, and the pcb looks like old peanut brittle  :icon_wink:.  any help would be greatly appreciated, and any advice on any other dating technique would be appreciated as well.

thanks in advance,

sorry to bump this... won't make a habit of it, but thought maybe bringing it up at this time of day would allow more people to see it - again, sorry to be bumping.  thanks!

Hi, I also have a Jen crybaby. The switch can be substituted with any regular DPDT, and I'll guess you'll be having a hard time finding an original. When I come to think of it, I still have the original SPDT that came with the pedal. I could give it to you, but I guess the shipping-charges to Canada would be to high to justify using it instead of a new one. If I were you, I would simply buy one of the regular DPDT's awaileable at small bear or any of the other DIY-supply stores.

Just wire it up like this: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/s.castledine/greenfuz/tb1.html

My jen also have the red fasel. To check it out, visit my home at www.syndromet.com
