Hey all,

I want to build a new TB box with a tuner out.  I've built a few TB boxes before (none with tuner mutes though, obviously), and feel comfortable with the loop part of it, but is adding a "tuner out/mute" as simple as wiring the effect send of another 3PDT switch to the tuner out jack, and NO return to the switch?

I know i can (and do for now) just put the tuner in a separate loop, but I'd rather have the signal muted to the amp when i'm going through the tuner so that tuning is silent...

Thanks,
Brian

I did it that way the first box I build and never had problems with it...... I also added in the same switch a way to switch the tuner on and off...... really nice.

Right now I just added a tuner out to my loop box (dual loop; one clean, one FX); the tuner out is always hot so all I need to do it turn on my tuner. Silent tuning I do by kicking off the loops.
Am learning something new every day here
