I did a sniper mod to a Boss ge-7 EQ, and had quite a bit of noise when I tried the pedal. I examined my work and found a solder bridge on one of the IC's. Fixed that, and the pedal cleaned up nicely except that I still have a hum when either boosting or cutting 400hz. If the slider is centered it is quiet. Any ideas?

I have no ideas, sorry! But - what is a sniper mod?

Peace!

sorry, the sniper mod from Tone-Jam is a modification kit for the Boss ge-7 EQ pedal. It includes better op amps and caps to make the pedal more quiet and punchy.
