I have encountered a representation of a 12AX7 pinout in a schematic that I'm not sure of (why do people not just use freaking pin numbers???).  I've added my guesses in red - can anyone tell me if I'm right?  Thanks.

Ah, figured it out.  1, 6, 2, and 7 are correct.  What I have as 9 is really a bridge between 3 and 8.

Right. The heater connection for use with 6.3 volts  is 4 connected to 5 as one side of the winding, and 9 to the other. If using 12.6 volts for the heater, connect 4 to one side, 5 to the other, and leave pin 9 not connected.
More dynamics????? I'm playing as loud as I can!

I still wish people used consistent symbols with the same orientiation and pin numbers.
