I have 3 schematics for the tyco octavia

2 are the same, but the 3rd has the capacitor connecting to the 1k ohm pot as being 100 uF while the other 2 have it as 25 uF..

I already built it with the 100 uF, but I havent tested it yet...., I guess I can switch them pretty easily, but..

Which one is right?

I looked at 3 schematics, and all 3 had either a 22 or 25 uf cap in that position. I believe that is an intensity pot, and the 100uf may not give it quite the raspiness you want. That cap ought to be easy enough to pull, but I'd play it and see what you thought of the tone. You can snip off the cap leads going into the PC board, where it bends into the component, and then tack a 25uf in there to check it's tone. It's no big deal. It's not as pretty, but it still works. I probably wasn't much help.
