Looking for 5mm diffused/frosted violet LEDS...anyone know where?

You can diffuse clear led with steel wool or something I think, dunno how well it works and how good you can do it, perhaps wide angle light beam is needed

I used something like 400 grit sandpaper to diffuse an led. Just don't rub too hard or stay in one spot too long.

Yeah, sandpaper will do the job. I tried it...
