so a friend gave me one of this with hopes of fixing it, but i popped it open, and as you probably know the circuit was encased in black epoxy.  there was one obvious problem that i cant seem to solve.  a wire is disconnected and i cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes.  anyone want to post a gut shot of theirs?  its a red wire, i took some readings and it appears linked to the sustain knob, but its coming out of the epoxy block and thats all i know. 

also the switch is broke, is it a 2 way or a 3 way (center off) switch?
