Hey! Little question, what is the difference between these IC's: TLC2272CP and a TLC2272 ? ???

The meanings of the letters after the part number are different for each manufacturer. The best way to decode them is to look at the datasheet from the manufacturer of the chip you have.

In this case, I believe the CP at the end stands for Commercial termperature range and Plastic DIP package.
