Im thinking about modding my sd-1 to Ts 808 specs. I found this http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/bom/tscmrmd.txt  --  but it states the word "similiar" but Im wondering HOW close is this if I wanted to mod my sd-1 to this?  Im sure there have to be many out there who would like to know this as well, considering the price difference between the 2 effects. I actuallown a couple of each but I thought, what the hell.

I think you got something mixed up.
You clearly state you want to mod a SD1 to sound like a TS, but the link goes to a page to mod a TS into a SD1.
The title says: "Tube Screamer Modifications"
