How do I actually wire the capacitor on the output volume pot?

Right now, I have the following connections:

1. effect out to Lug 3 of output pot
2. Lug 2 of output pot to the footswitch
3. Lug 1 of the output pot to ground

I have wired a 2200 cap from Lug 2 to Lug 1.  Is that the correct way to wire the cap?

How do I wire the trim pot?

Hi MSB,

I can't really give you an answer...you need to actually put a link to the schematic of what you're making  ;)
I seem to remember something about what I think you're trying to do, but haven't been on the mods page for so long I can't find it!  Can you get more specific?
Thx

what's the trimpot intended to do?
  I would guess it'sa cap through V/R [trimpot lugs *3 {or two for that matter} and *1].
It'll do about the same thing I think, it's just after the signal has been divided by the output pot or before...
How does it work the way it's wired?
From signal path, caps to ground rolls off highs, introducing resistance to that path reduces the effect.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
