Replacing multi-section capacitors and bypass caps

I have two simple questions:

First of all, I want to remove the last two old capacitors in my small Silvertone amp. I already did most of the caps, but the two-section red capacitor on the right is still installed. Would I just snip out that cap, solder in two new capacitors and connect both to the negative lead?

Secondly, I would like to build a new treble booster circuit. I already did an Orange TB-like circuit, but the bass cut is too much, especially since I am playing 7-strings. How can I compute the frequency response of a transistor with a bypass cap (like in the Marshall SL circuits)?

  The multi section caps should have their values marked on them.
  If you have a schematic that always helps.
  Of COurse you know to drain the High Voltage before proceeding with amplifier innards, especially anywhere inside the amp including the Supply Section.
  I've replaced multi-caps with regular caps, I had to find or make room, even had to go through the top of the chassis once to fit the many caps in where the multi caps go.
  use Shown voltage rating or higher...fine...I try to stay close to the uf value of the old caps or schematic.
