Hi ya'll.
Just put the finishing touches on my English Channel today.
Fired right up and after some time of setting the trim pots, I discovered what
a tremendous sounding circuit this is with lots of tonal flavor.
I have opted to keep the Cut pot in the circuit so, I will be needing space
for 5 knobs + a foot switch.
I know I can fit it all into a 1590BB but was curious as to how any of you that have
built this project arranged the controls.
Pics would be real good too!
Thanks,
    MarkM

Here's how I did mine:

Hope that helps.

No gut shot but here is my EC.  It's hard to tell in the pic but that is a switch on the left to switch between normal/brilliant inputs.  I strongly suggest using the switch or just the brilliant - it's too mushy ( and I LIKE mushy!!) on the normal channel.

You could put this in a 1590b or a 125 style box.

I don't think there's room in a B box?

BTW.....Very Nice work fellas. Looking Good!!

Could squeeze this circuit in there quite comfortably. Different PCB layout though.

I don't have a finished product just yet and I'm building it with a Prof. Tweed in the same box but here's a pix of the faceplate layout.  The X's are drill points.  Note that the pedal isn't bypassable!  The customer plays very small gigs and will run it direct.  I may even install a second output to compensate the different tonal qualities of a mixer.

I hope this link works.  When the pedal is done I'll post proper pix.

Heh. Dr. Grey. :)

I'm actually writing Build Guides for some of the OLCircuits kits so I have lots of pics and diagrams. Hopefully this week I'll start on the Supreaux and the Whisker Biscuit.

Hey Dano12, you wouldn't happen to have Mouser part numbers for those Alpha pots would you?

don't have the part numbers--all the stuff for the EC came with the kit from OLCircuits.

They are pretty much the standard Alpha 16mm pots, should be easy to find at mouser or at smallbearelec.com.
