hello guys has someone build one time that kind of boxes ?

i want to have a box to A-B effects i mean, i want to plug two same boxes one the box and the amp with two different configuration into the boxes  and blind test them by switching from one two the other to know by the ears witch one i prefer

i was thinking of one that i can switch off the led to dont know wich one i m using and then switch and see.....(the switch of the A-b box)

if someone has a schematic or veroboard design it will be very interessent!!!!!

thanks....

i think you need a looper box.  correct me if i misunderstand you.

if i am correct, this is very very easy.

there's a million more, but here's mine i just found in my folder:

and here's my finished box:

hope this helps.
search "looper" for more info.

Thanks that s exctly what i was looking for i just want to ad a switch for the leds do just switch them out when test and then see wich box i choose!!!

Add a switch that disconnects the power so you can't see the LEDs for blind comparison. The actual switching part is passive so it won't be affected.

All you have to do to randomise, is to be able to stomp more times than you can count :icon_wink:
(One way to do that, is to stomp as fast as you can while subtracting from 100 by sevens. By the time you get to 2, your leg is permanently cramped and you have NO IDEA what is switched in.)

If you're going to be doing any serious testing, there are several audiophile sites that describe building an ABX switching box for blind testing. Rod Elliot has Steven Hill's ABX article on his website (here), which should give you a good overview of how it's done. It's not a simple build, but at least it eliminates having to count to 100 by sevens while hopping on your footswitch  :icon_wink: - I'm sure something a bit simpler could be hacked together if there was sufficient interest.
