hello you all

i finished yesterday to build my 808 using torchy vero layout and put my batery try it and no soud !

so i re check everithing an find that the chip was wrong side and the two tantalum 0.22 had polarity ! so i re change that and then work but sound is boring i can dicribe it but too loud and like digitalized !!!

if someone have an idea....

Maybe you wrecked the chip and the tantalum caps as they have polarity; change em and check again

You've gotta replace the ic and cap with a new one- those old ones are gonna be shorted if you powered them up in reverse.
