passive eq question

I found this eq schematic here http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=35951.0 and it said it sucks up a lot of level, I was wondeirning if you could just cut down the values to keep more level. I wanted to use it inside a guitar but wanted it purely passive so i wouldn't need a place for a 9 volt inside.  Could i just divide the values by 5 for everything? Like the pots 50k and the resistor 20k? Please help I don't know how half this stuff works.

Unfortunately, you can't do that. If you wanted to put it in the guitar, you would need to add more to the circuit and it would require power (battery).
